26 March 2019

Sahil Gupta has been awarded the prestigious Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) postdoc Stipendium (GU 2029/1-1, project number 420142384) on ‘Mapping the initiating steps of aneuploidy and aneuploidy tolerization in tumorigenesis’. He will be accepting the fellowship in the lab of ‘Genomic Instability in Development and Disease’ headed by Floris Foijer from 1.01.2020-31.12.2021 where he will investigate the mechanism of aneuploid chromosome selection in spontaneous models of tumorigenesis employing mutagenesis screens, iPSCs, transgenic mouse models, CRISPR screens assimilated with high throughput single cell sequencing and MS analysis. Sahil is currently working at the iPSC/CRISPR facility on differentiation and CRISPR optimization protocols.
