Karin Klauke awarded the Van Swinderen Prize 2014

Karin Klauke from the lab of Gerald de Haan at ERIBA was distinguished with the Van Swinderen Prize 2014.
The prize is awarded annually by the Koninklijk Natuurkundig Genootschap at Groningen and rewards PhD theses distinguished ‘cum laude’ obtained in the previous academic year. Besides Karin Klauke as first prize winner three other young scientists were honoured with the second prize.
Karin Klauke defended her thesis “Epigenetic regulation of normal and malignant hematopoiesis” in October 2013. Part of her results were earlier published in Nature Cell Biology in 2013 and will be published in Stem Cell Reports on January 13, 2015 issue.
