Karin Klauke and Annemieke van der Goot awarded the Max Gruber Prize 2014

Two young scientist trained at ERIBA are distinguished with the Max Gruber Prize for  the best peer reviewed publications of the University of Groningen in Biochemistry or Cell Biology. This prize is awarded biannually since 2002 to the best publication produced by a PhD student. The prize will ceremoniously be presented on October 28.

Karin Klauke published an article  in Nature Cell Biology in april 2013 about the work she performed in the lab of Gerald de Haan at ERIBA. She finished her PhD in October 2013 and  continued her research as a Postdoctoral Fellow in the same lab.

Annemieke van der Goot published her results in The Proceedings of the National Academy of Science in September 2012. She received her doctors degree in the lab of Ellen Nollen at ERIBA in September 2013 and is currently a Postdoctoral Fellow at Stanford University, USA.

The third honoured student is Sonja Jensen working in the group of Dirk Jan Slotboom on Enzymology
