VICI grant awarded to Liesbeth Veenhoff! Liesbeth will study how and why a cell changes when it ages. Her research is aimed at revealing changes in the nuclear pores: the gatekeepers to the nucleus. This will contribute to discovery of the common cause of age-related diseases.
